Good questions
Let’s make
things clear.
Which finish is right for my space?
Start with how the space is used. Flake is a popular direction for garages and workshops; quartz offers a finely textured look; metallic focuses on depth and movement. We will help narrow the options after reviewing the surface and your priorities.
How much will my project cost?
Each quote depends on the area, existing surface, required repairs and selected finish. Share your approximate dimensions, location and a few photos to start. Final scope and pricing are confirmed after assessment.
Can you coat damaged concrete?
Existing cracks, coatings, contamination and moisture conditions need to be assessed first. Some surfaces need repairs or additional preparation; some conditions may make coating unsuitable until the underlying issue is resolved.
How long does installation take?
The schedule depends on preparation, the coating system and site conditions. Your quote should set out the installation window and separate guidance for foot traffic, furniture and vehicles. Do not use the surface until the specified curing period has passed.
Is epoxy slippery?
Traction depends on the selected system, texture, contamination and whether the floor is wet. Tell us about your use of the space so the finish can be discussed accordingly. No floor should be treated as slip-proof.
What does the warranty cover?
The current agreement provides a limited five-year warranty for adhesion-related peeling and delamination under normal residential use. Exclusions include impact, chemical exposure, moisture vapour, structural movement, abuse, flooding and improper maintenance. The signed agreement governs coverage; commercial coverage must be confirmed separately.
Where do you work?
Skywalkers Epoxy serves Etobicoke and the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, North York, Mississauga and Oakville. Ask about your location when requesting a quote.
Can I send photos before booking?
Yes. Use the project brief to prepare an email, then attach photos in your email app. Include a wide view, close-ups of any damage, your approximate dimensions and the project location.
